200 years nothing to celebrate
As part of the Bicentennial, it is necessary to debate the hegemonic construction in monocultural and homogeneous of the Argentine State.

The Argentine government has acknowledged the prior existence of indigenous peoples in Article 75 paragraph 17 of the constitution, has ratified the ILO Convention 169, which includes political and territorial rights for indigenous peoples to develop within their own cultural identity. The same agreement expresses the free, prior and informed consultation when dealing with issues that could impair the development of indigenous peoples. However
the legitimate claim of territorial rights continues. Today, the struggle of indigenous peoples is to curb the advance soy, to say no to mining pollution in the open, by not allowing the greedy forward real estate in complicity with local governments encroaching on our precious lands.
For this reason and in the framework of existing laws, we wonder where are payable on the rights of indigenous peoples?
